In October 2023, the EAC Secretariat with French Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The objective of the MoU is to establish a framework of cooperation and facilitate the Parties’ strategic partnership to draw on expertise and support collaborative initiatives to sustain the EAC Integration Agenda.

Uganda endorsed the UAE Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems, and Climate Action.
