Uganda Development Bank (UDB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) on 5th November, 2026 during the pre-COP30 National Forum.
The partnership will promote Uganda’s investment opportunities by highlighting bankable, climate-aligned projects in renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable infrastructure, and green manufacturing, driving climate resilience and sustainable development.
This collaboration underscores UDB’s commitment to building strong alliances making it the third consecutive year UDB is participating in the UN Climate Conference as a commitment in mobilizing funding and forging partnerships that unlock climate finance, accelerate innovation, and deliver tangible impact for communities across Uganda. `
