This National Development Report (NDR), is the third report to be produced by the National Planning Authority (NPA), and has been produced in fulfilment of the requirement by the National Planning Act, 2002, the Vision 2040 Framework and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2010/11-2014/15.

Shortage in seed potato is identified as a major problem affecting quality potato production in the Kigezi sub-region.
